about me
As of May 2009, I hold a BFA in Visual Effects from the Savannah College of Art & Design.
Throughout my childhood I was always drawn to films and video games. Those childhood interests caused me to take interest in the production aspects of film, so during high school traveled to another school to take a film and video class. After doing a short stop-motion clay animation in the class, I decided to major in Animation at SCAD. However, upon arriving I decided that Visual Effects was more along the lines of what I was interested in, but my animation desire never left.
When I took the Motion Capture Technology class in the Spring of 2008, I once again caught the animation bug. I continued with motion capture by integrating it into my senior project, and eventually allowing it to take over.
The entire production line interests me, and so one of my teachers recommended I become a Production Assistant. My overall interest in the entertainment industry provided me with a degree and the background to do well in such an environment. My customer service skills have developed throughout my previous jobs and my ability to multitask and pay close attention to detail would make me a great asset to any production.
Now that I have graduated, I am searching for a full time job either as a Production Assistant or doing Motion Capture in the film, television, or video game industry.
